Despite the strides made in providing stroke care and rehabilitation, the center is faced with a number of challenges including;

1. Inadequate transport facilities to pick and make follow-up on patients: the center lacks an ambulance for easy transportation of patients especially in case of emergency

2. Shortage Of Equipment: Due to increasing number of stroke cases the number of equipment available to support the survivors e.g life support equipment for oxygen, a mobile stroke service van to extend services to the community

3. Space and Accommodation: inadequate space for accommodation of patients who come from far, unstable power supply among others.
